Cellist<\/a> und P\u00e4dagoge<\/a>\u00a0Alvin Wong<\/b> tritt als Solokonzertant<\/a> , Rezitalist und Kammermusiker in ganz Amerika, Europa, Asien und Australasien auf. Als Verfechter neuer Musik hat Alvin Konzerte und Cellowerke von chinesischen und amerikanischen Komponisten uraufgef\u00fchrt, die mit einem Grammy, Pulitzer und McArthur ausgezeichnet wurden.<\/p>

Geboren in Hongkong, Alvin<\/a> studierte bei den legend\u00e4ren Cellisten und P\u00e4dagogen J\u00e1nos Starker<\/a> und Aldo Parisot<\/a>, and was awarded the Doctor of Musical Arts<\/strong> (D.M.A.) degree from Yale University<\/a>. Currently Associate Professor<\/strong> of Cello at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (China), Alvin has previously served on the faculties of Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover (Germany), Melbourne Conservatorium of Music (Australia) and Connecticut College (USA).<\/p>
